TRANSFORMASI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM BERBASIS MAQASHID SYARIAH DI ERA SOCIETY 5.0
Abstract
Islamic education faces fundamental challenges in navigating the transition toward Society 5.0, a paradigm that integrates advanced digital technology with humanistic values in addressing complex social problems. This study aims to examine how the Maqashid Sharia framework can serve as a foundational reference in transforming Islamic education to remain contextually relevant and spiritually grounded in the Society 5.0 era. This research employs a qualitative library research method by systematically collecting, reviewing, and synthesizing scholarly literature, including reputable journal articles and recent academic books. The findings reveal that the five principal objectives of Maqashid Sharia the preservation of religion (hifz al-din), intellect (hifz al-'aql), life (hifz al-nafs), lineage (hifz al-nasl), and wealth (hifz al-mal) hold significant relevance as guiding pillars for curriculum reformation, pedagogical innovation, and the formation of Islamic educational institutions' character. The integration of these principles with technological literacy enables the creation of a generation that is simultaneously digitally competent and morally resilient. This study concludes that Maqashid Sharia-based transformation provides a comprehensive and adaptive framework for Islamic education to respond constructively to the challenges of the digital era without sacrificing its spiritual foundations.
