Abstract

Islamic education management today faces complex challenges in terms of institutional accountability, transparency, and participatory governance. This study examines the concept of good governance as applied within Islamic educational management frameworks. The primary objective is to analyze how the principles of good governance namely transparency, accountability, rule of law, participation, responsiveness, and equity can be integrated into the operational management of Islamic educational institutions. Employing a systematic library research methodology, this study draws upon authoritative books published within the last five years and reputable academic journal articles indexed in international databases. The analysis reveals that the incorporation of good governance principles into Islamic educational management is not only conceptually compatible with Islamic values but also practically necessary to address contemporary challenges of institutional credibility and public trust. These findings contribute to the theoretical enrichment of Islamic educational management studies and offer practical frameworks for institutional reform.
