TRANSFORMASI MEDIA DAKWAH DARI KONVENSIONAL KE DIGITAL

The shift of da'wah media from conventional to digital forms is an inevitable consequence of the rapid acceleration of information and communication technology in the contemporary era. This study aims to analyze the transformation patterns of da'wah media, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of that transformation, and examine its implications for the effectiveness of Islamic propagation in the digital age. Employing a library research methodology, this investigation systematically reviews scholarly books and reputable journal articles published within the last five years. Data were gathered through documentary techniques and subjected to content analysis supplemented by interpretive hermeneutics. The findings reveal that digital da'wah through social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok has demonstrably broadened outreach, accelerated message dissemination, and cultivated more interactive engagement with audiences. Nonetheless, this transformation also introduces critical challenges, namely the proliferation of radical religious content, declining message depth, and the absence of rigorous content quality filters. The study concludes that an integrative approach combining technological literacy with robust religious scholarship is indispensable for sustaining the quality and credibility of digital da'wah.
