Studi Fenomenologi Tantangan Remaja yang Mengalami Kehamilan Tidak Diinginkan
Abstract
Kehamilan yang pada remaja usia sekolah menjadi kasus yang penting untuk mendapat perhatian. Kondisi ini akan menyebabkan remaja menjadi kehilangan usia muda dan pendidikannya menjadi terkorbankan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan studi fenomenologi yang bertujuan untuk mencari tahu tantangan yang dialami remaja hamil tidak diinginkan. Data diambil berdasarkan wawancara mendalam dan triangulasi terhadap 102 responden dengan kriteria saat hamil berusia <19 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan remaja yang mengalami kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan menghadapi tantangan yang sangat kompleks, baik dari segi sosial, emosional, maupun pendidikan. Respons awal remaja terhadap kehamilan tersebut didominasi rasa takut, kecewa, dan kebingungan. Sementara tanggapan dari orang tua umumnya adalah marah dan kekecewaan yang mendalam, meski pada akhirnya menerima dengan lapang dada kondisi tersebut.
